About us...
FC Burrough (FCB) is a muddle of Escombe & Hillary Old Boys, with a few Umbilo boys thrown in the mix for good measure. The club was founded in 2008 and currently plays out of Fairfield Park in the Durban Commercial League and the Pinetown Football Association.
In 2009, our second season, the squad did us proud by lifting the League and KO Cup whilst enjoying an unbeaten run throughout the year - what an achievement! Bring on 2010...
In 2010 our squad grew into 2 teams, 1 of which was entered into the Consurve Commercial Over 35 league, the premier league for Over 35s in Durban, where we are pitted against the likes of Stella, Umbilo, Fynnlands, Bayview, Twini, Forest Hills, Savages (PMB), Juventus, UIB Crusaders, Yellowwood Park (Digizone), Berea Park (Jack Rabbits), Hibs & Westville OBs. Our so-called "social" side remained in the Pinetown FA league to take on the likes of BOB, Ashley, Chiltern, Blues (PMB), Win 1 Soon, Highway & Dumpy Bend.
